Grand Canyon! November 2013

To avoid Thanksgiving (because we each have lost both our parents), my boyfriend (at the time) and I drove to Las Vegas for an event, and stopped at several amazing places along the way.

Here was one of them:  The Grand Canyon!

I had never been here in my 43 years of life.  It was beautiful and amazing and cannot really be described. You must see it in person!

We were surprised by snow! 

And he also made a campfire for me and then cooked steaks on it.  I made a cute little salad for us.
